Hi everyone, welcome to my blog.
For most people the start of a new year is a time for making resolutions and great plans. I love cooking and eating new foods. In January 2009, I set myself the challenge of trying a new recipe once a week.
To ensure that I remained true to the resolution, I started to send the recipes to a group of food loving friends and family. Since I embarked on my culinary journey many new recipes have been shared, tried and tested.
The distribution list for my weekly recipe updates has grown and grown and so I decided to expand and share my passion for anything food related with the masses.
I would love to receive your favourite recipes, cooking tips and any comments you have on my postings.

Looking forward to lots more recipes (so far my absolute favorite is the Thai Style sea bass – love that one).

Heading back to college again until January, so there may not be a consistent flow of recipes but I will try and keep them up. I got a new camera so I should have more photos for you also.

Hi Catherine, glad you like it. Anything you would like to see on the blog let me know. I was trying to add a restaurant reviews section but it is posing too difficult to add star ratings. Maybe it will come over time.

Well well done. The recipes are fantastic. Must admit however to not having a minute to brush my hair most days so looking forward to a time when I can read a recipe, find a pen that works, find paper, find a shopping bag, go shopping and finally COOK an amazing meal. At least I won’t have to go looking for the recipe again cos it will be here. BRILLIANT x

Your cooking is always great. Especially the curries. Jamie Oliver did a lovely Thai curry with prawns on his 30 minute meals, must give that a try and pass it on.
Just a quick note to let you know that I haven’t fallen off the planet. I am preparing to move to Australia so things have been kind of hectic. I’m looking forward to sampling and exploring the culinary delights that Australia has to offer and posting back on my findings. I hope to post a few new recipes before I leave so stay tuned 🙂

Thanks very much for your feedback. I love to hear from people who read my blog. You know I have often thought about jazzing the blog up a bit more. To be honest most of the time I do things on the spur of the moment and I’m not particularly organised but I will definitely try and includes more step by step photos and I may even try to incorporate some videos.
